Inselspital invests more than 400 Mio CHF in building a new cardiovascular center

Mai 2013 – The Inselspital Bern, which is one of the five leading university hospitals in Switzerland presented its new Swiss Cardiovascular Center. It is scheduled to treat more than 30.000 patients per year and comprises all modern cardiovascular healthcare offerings including cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology and most modern therapies for end stage cardiac failure. More than 440 mill. SFr will be invested and it is due to be completed by 2020.

MMI Munich Medical International was assigned to conceptualize this Center and to integrate it into the masterplan 2020/2025 of the Inselspital. After this successful planning stage MMI is now commissioned to enter into the next phase of the realization of Cardiovascular Center as well as planning the other strategic clinics of the Inselspital.
