Medical Centre for Cardiovascular Diseases & Dialysis (Bucharest/ Romania)
A Romanian consortium establishes a privately owned, state of the art, diagnostic and treatment centre for cardio-vascular diseases on the outskirts of Bucharest in order to provide first class health care to the people of Romania and the surrounding countries.
MMI provided the medical concept and the medical advisory board for the project. The Center will comprise of modern diagnostics including echocardiography and CT. It will also have a large outpatient department. A focus will be on interventional therapy in cardiology and angiology with 2 cardiac catheter places and 1 angiography unit. It will be complemented by a cardiac surgery unit including a coronary care unit and ICU.
The market situation was analysed and it showed that a high need for cardio-vascular treatment facilities in Romania exists and that there is a low degree of competition in the greater Bucharest region. The financial projections suggest an early return of investment.
